Meet the Shining Stars of

Culver Meadows Senior Living

that make your loved one's stay

feel like their Home Away From Home!

Ashley Kolarik

Ashley joined the Culver Meadows Senior Living family in 2017.  Ashley's joy in caring for other people brings her a sense of purpose.  Her grandfather passed away when she was very young from Alzheimer's and working with individuals with the same care needs brings her closer to the man she lost.  Ashley finds joy when residents remember her name and spread their kindness with their smiles.  Ashley and her husband Jason have been married for 11 years and have 9 beautiful children together.  Between being our most senior member of the staff and raising her 9 children, Ashley finds time in her busy schedule to also further her education and is in the nursing program at NMC in hopes to one day receive her LPN. She loves to read, watch movies, ride quads with her family and dabble in photography all while maintaining her respected leadership within our home.  Ashley joined the Culver Meadows family because "walking through the door it just felt like home"

Michelle Corby

Michelle joined the Culver Meadows family in 2020 after working in other AFC homes in the area.  Michelle finds caring for residents very rewarding and cannot see herself doing anything else.  Michelle has raised two children, a daughter and son and also has a beautiful granddaughter.  She loves spending time with family especially in the outdoors.  After working in other businesses she found her way to Culver Meadows Senior Living and has loved caring for the residents ever since.

Kaylee Knudsen

Kaylee started working in healthcare right after High School before joining the Culver Meadows family in 2022.  Her love of helping the elderly and listening to their stories is what drew her to the career.  Kaylee and her fiancé together have a total of 8 children, 6 girls and 2 boys as well as 2 dogs and a cat.  Kaylee enjoys doing diamond art, camping with her family and doing trailing in the woods.  Being around a bonfire with her family is the highlight of her summer nights.  Kaylee reached out to Culver Meadows and instantly was drawn to the staff and the residents and knew it was where she was meant to be.

Kasandra "Kat" Henry

Kat joined the Culver Meadows family in 2024 and added so much fun to place with her cheerful personality and jubilant attitude.  Kat starting working in the human service field around the age of 20 and fell in love with serving others.  She loves taking the time to listen to resident stories and learn about their lives all while providing care.  Along with her loving partner Kyle, she is starting her family with her two dogs and two rats. Kat is a talented artist and showcases and sells her art at some local businesses here in Traverse City. In addition to painting, she loves camping and music, which reflects her creative spirit.  Kat is one that leads by example and we feel so lucky to have her!

Annie

Annie is Connor's lovable companion that comes to help our residents with her love.  She comes and greets everyone with the same calm personality as her dad.  The residents love getting Annie lovies.

Stan

Stan is Culver Meadows loving and caring house dog.  With mom Jamie to lead the way Stan makes sure to put a smile on everyone's faces when he greets them.  Stan does his very best to assist the residents and staff alike with everyday clean up, especially after a meal!
