Care Support Team

With a wide variety of options most of our residents at Culver Meadows Senior Living are followed by a support team of medical professionals.  One particular team we have partnered with is NPalliative (Chronic Care Management).  NPalliative has an amazing team of Nurse Practitioners that come to the home weekly and is overseen by their Medical Director, Dr. Nussdorfer, and has 24 hour on-call services. The nursing staff makes weekly visits and more if needed to all our residents. Most insurance policies pay for this service. The Podiatrist (foot doctor) makes in-home visits every six to eight weeks and sooner if needed. Most insurance policies cover these services. Culver Meadows does not cover Doctor or Podiatrist expenses. Therapy services from their partnering care team Residential Home Care also come to our home and provide doctor ordered physical therapy when needed.

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

Culver Meadows Senior Living prides itself on specializing in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care. With a knowledgeable staff of the disease, stages, and how to better care for residents in these different stages. Not just our staff but our home in Traverse City as well are suited to better meet these care needs.

Types of Care

We welcome any types of care needs from Long-term and Short-term stays to End of Life and Respite Care. We provide care to those living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Parkinson's and support to families and their loved one(s) as we understand the support they may need during this difficult time. Here at Culver Meadows Senior Living everyone is cared for like family.

Qualified Staff

Our caregivers are qualified and fully trained to provide the very best care that your loved one(s) deserve. Training for our residents is built on the needs of those that live with us.  Each resident has their own unique history and health care needs, that our round-the clock caregivers are equipped to handle their stay. 

Daily Activities

We try to enrich and bring joy to our residents life whenever we can. We offer a variety of activities daily. Whether it’s art, music, board games, crafts, or movies. We also have singing and musical groups frequent our home as well.

Home Cooked Meals

We provide three well balanced, nutritious home cooked meals daily, including a snack in the afternoon. Our residents are welcome to as much as they would like, when it comes to seconds or even thirds. Family may provide any extra food or snacks their loved one(s) may enjoy.

Coded Exits and Entries

All exits and entries are fully coded and alarmed to ensure the safety of our residents and provide their family with the comfort of knowing that their loved ones are in a safe and secure environment.

Furniture/Cable TV

All of our rooms at our home are fully furnished.  Residents may have their own furniture from home if desired. A wall mounted TV with cable is provided as well, which the cost of cable service is included in the care rate, with no hidden fees. Phone hook-ups are available in every room.

Laundry/Cleaning

All laundry is done on-site and there is no extra charge for laundry service.  Our staff is always available to ensure our residents have clean clothing at all times.
